The Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators (CCRNR) serves as a national collaborative for regulators of registered nurses for interprovincial/territorial, national, and global regulatory matters. CCRNR promotes the advancement of excellence in the regulation of registered nurses in the public interest.
The Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators (CCRNR) is seeking applicants for the position of a virtual Executive Coordinator. The position is contracted by CCRNR for a specified period of time (1 year) and reports to the CCRNR President. It is expected that the Executive Coordinator will provide approximately 20 hours of work per week throughout the contracting period. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The CCRNR Executive Coordinator provides administrative and management support for CCRNR and serves as the primary point of contact for CCRNR members and interested partners.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Supports the Board’s development of annual priorities in collaboration with the President.
- Acts as the primary resource to the Board, President, Committees, Networks and Working Groups.
- Manages CCRNR’s finances, including the development of draft annual budgets with recommendations regarding resources required to meet priorities; provides support for annual audit and ensures Board receives regular financial reports.
- Collaborates with the President to identify issues, prepare Board agendas, prepare background information, and recommend policies for Board approval.
- Conducts research to support the Board’s priorities and drafts documents for discussion and approval.
- Works collaboratively with CCRNR’s communications consultant to ensure CCRNR’s communications needs are met.
- Oversees terms and deliverables of contracts with service providers (e.g., insurer, auditor, virtual assistant, consultants, legal counsel).
- Oversees terms and deliverables of external grants, including monitoring timelines and drafting reports.
- Establishes critical processes including, and not limited to, the following: financial reporting and annual budget development/approval; corporate reporting and filings; asset management and record keeping; annual priority development and approval; Board meeting material development, distribution and record keeping; development of policies and procedures.
